										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Long revered by healers, the rosemary plant was regarded as sacred by many civilisations (Egyptians, Greek, Roman and Hebrew) who considered it sacred. Its slightly floral, herbaceous aroma can clear the mind and increase mental stimulation thus often used in aromatherapy. It was also widely used to cleanse the air and prevent sickness from spreading.</p>
<p>Native to the Mediterranean coastline, Rosemary is a shrub that grows up to six feet tall. Its name means “dew, sea” from the Latin words “ros” and “marinus” which refers to Rosemary’s spread along the sea.</p>

<p>Blending : Myrrh, and other resins; Geranium, and other florals</p>
<p>Massage : As a blended massage oil or diluted in the bath, rosemary oil can assist coughs, bronchitis, back pain, scalp disorders, sinusitis, mental fatigue and physical tiredness as well as countering sagging skin.</p>
<p>Diffusion : In burners and vaporisers, rosemary oil can be helpful for congestion, alcohol over-indulgence, overwork, sinusitis and mental and physical tiredness. It furthermore stimulates the brain, improves memory and promotes clear thinking.</p>
<p>Safety : DO NOT ingest the oil. Possible skin sensitivity. Always do a patch test on a small area of skin. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. I massage applications, blend with good quality coconut oil or other good quality carrier oils at a ratio of 3 to 5 drops essential oil to 1 tablespoon carrier oil. Keep in a cool dry place and out of direct light.</p>
