To get the most of your candle, we recommend that it is left lit until an even pool of liquid wax forms on the full surface during the first light up. Place the candle in an area that has minimal draft. Also, to enjoy the beauty of the artwork and maximise the lantern like qualities of the jar, do clean the inside walls when the candle when it is cold.

Wax : Our candles are made with specially formulated premium grade soy wax which results in a clean and even burn.
Scents : We use premium quality IFRA certified phthalate free scents to create wonderful ambiences.
Jars : Our glass jars are extra thick and 100% recyclable and accepted by all recycling centres. They come with screw on covers which we feel are safer than pull off covers which could come off accidently during handling and sending the jar crashing down.
Wicks : We only use cotton based metal free wicks which we straighten and attach to the jar by hand
Burn Time : 120 to 140 hrs

During Medieval times, people were divided on the properties of Lavender. Some claimed that it kept the wearer chaste, while other believed the opposite, touting its aphrodisiac qualities. The list of uses of Lavender Oil is long. Lavender has been used and cherished for centuries for its unmistakable aroma and myriad benefits. In ancient times, the Egyptians and Romans used Lavender for bathing, relaxation, cooking, and as a perfume; it is widely used for its calming and relaxing qualities which continue to be Lavender’s most notable qualities.

Lavender is frequently used to reduce the appearance of skin imperfections. Add to bath water to soak away stress or apply to the temples and the back of the neck. Add a few drops of Lavender to pillows, bedding, or bottoms of feet to promote a restful night’s sleep. Due to Lavender’s versatile properties, it is considered the must-have oil to have on hand at all times.

Blending : Lavender oil blends well with cedar wood, clary sage, geranium, pine, nutmeg and all the citrus oils.

Massage : Lavender oil can be used as a massage oil or diluted in the bath, for allergies, arthritis, fatigue, hay headaches, insomnia, anxiety, irritability, stress and just for the plain pleasure of relaxing in such a fragrant surrounding. It also helps the skin heal faster with less scarring.

Diffusion : In burners and vaporisers, lavender oil can be useful for allergies, dizziness, sleeplessness (also in children), hay fever, headaches, irritability, nervous tension and as an insect repellent. I massage applications, blend with good quality coconut oil or other good quality carrier oils at a ratio of 3 to 5 drops essential oil to 1 tablespoon carrier oil. Keep in a dry cool place away from direct sunlight.
