To get the most of your candle, we recommend that it is left lit until an even pool of liquid wax forms on the full surface during the first light up. Place the candle in an area that has minimal draft. Also, to enjoy the beauty of the artwork and maximise the lantern like qualities of the jar, do clean the inside walls when the candle when it is cold.

Wax : Our candles are made with specially formulated premium grade soy wax which results in a clean and even burn.
Scents : We use premium quality IFRA certified phthalate free scents to create wonderful ambiences.
Jars : Our glass jars are extra thick and 100% recyclable and accepted by all recycling centres. They come with screw on covers which we feel are safer than pull off covers which could come off accidently during handling and sending the jar crashing down.
Wicks : We only use cotton based metal free wicks which we straighten and attach to the jar by hand

SHEA soaps are handmade, and made well, with good and safe ingredients, to ensure you get the best. Shea butter has always been known to be very moisturising and good in protecting the skin. Glycerine is a humectant that helps keep skin moisturised. Oat protein is wonderful with moisturising and helping soothe irritated the skin. To take this one step further, SHEA studied and decided to add Activated Charcoal to our already amazing Shea Butter soaps to make them even better as activated charcoal helps draw out toxins and bacteria from the skin.

Lime essential oil has an astringent and toning action to clear oily skin and acne, and also helps with herpes, insect bites and cuts. It also reduces the cottage cheese effect on skin caused by cellulite. In aromatherapy, the refreshing and revitalising fragrance lifts depression and energize a tired mind, while easing breathing. The fragrance helps give the feeling of “fullness” thus, reducing the craving to eat and hence, helping with issues of obesity.

Tea Tree Pure Essential Oil 10ml (PEO)

More commonly known as “Tea Tree,” Melaleuca essential oil has over 92 different compounds and limitless applications. The leaves of the Melaleuca tree were used by the Aborigines of Australia for centuries. They would crush the leaves and inhale the oil to promote feelings of clear breathing and apply the leaves directly to the skin for a cooling effect. Melaleuca is best known for its purifying properties. It is highly anti-bacterial and is a must for any home medicine cabinet or first-aid kit. It can be used to cleanse and purify the skin and nails and to support a healthy complexion, and Melaleuca can be used on surfaces throughout the home to protect against environmental threats. Melaleuca is frequently used on occasional skin irritations to soothe the skin and diffusing Melaleuca will help purify and freshen the air.

Massage : As a blended massage oil or diluted in the bath, tea tree oil helps with all respiratory ailments, as well as arthritis, colds, dermatitis, skin infections, scalp disorders, sinusitis, viral infections, nettle rash, and coughs, bronchitis, as well as for sweaty feet. A course of massage with tea tree oil before an operation may help to fortify the body and reduce post-operative shock.

Diffusion : In burners and vaporisers tea tree oil helps with colds, sinusitis, bronchitis and any other respiratory ailment and is also of use to help the mind cope after shock.

Wound Wash : When it is added to the water for washing it has great value to treat abscesses, bed sores, acne, boils, lice, dandruff, wounds, as well as animal or human bites and can also be applied neat on problem areas with a cotton bud, but it might sting a little.

Lice : apply neat onto the scalp – leave for 40 minutes and wash the hair. This must be repeated every second day until the problem is eliminated

Fungal Issues : Such as athlete’s foot and nail infections (paronychia) as well as vaginal thrush and cradle cap can be treated with frequent direct application of a 2.5% dilution of tea tree oil. Please remember that it is a powerful essential oil, and the neat application onto the skin must be done with extreme care.

Safety : DO NOT ingest the oil. Possible skin sensitivity. Always do a patch test on a small area of skin. Keep out of reach of children. If you are pregnant, nursing, or under a doctor’s care, consult your physician. Avoid contact with eyes, inner ears, and sensitive areas. I massage applications, blend with good quality coconut oil or other good quality carrier oils at a ratio of 3 to 5 drops essential oil to 1 tablespoon carrier oil. Keep in a cool dry place and out of direct light. Possible mild skin sensitizer.
